After Wisconsin, we headed south to Chicago. We met Nick's best friend from high school, along with his wife and their 2 kids. They live in Kalamazoo, MI and when they heard about our trip, he took advantage of a conference in Chicago to hang out with us. Sadly, I didn't get any pictures of the girls while we were there, nor did I take any while at their house. We were just so glad to have a place to stay for 4 nights that we could call "home".
Camille being silly in the hotel room. If she looks tired, she was. This was about the point when she decided to stop napping.
On the L, headed to the Cubs game

The view from our seats. We lucked out and happened to have seats under the overhang... it poured the whole game.
Eating pasta at a pizzeria. We were disappointed with our first attempt at deep dish pizza so we had it again the next day for lunch - much better!
We went to the top of Willis Tower (formerly Sears Tower), the tallest building in the western hemisphere, and 3rd tallest in the world. You take an elevator to the 103rd floor 1,353 feet off the ground. The view is spectacular.
They have "the ledge" area where you can step out onto, made of glass, just to make you a little woozy.

Camille wasn't even fazed.
Waiting to hop back on the L

Oh my goodness. Those standing on the glass photos made me ill. I wouldn't have been able to do it!
